Expanding College Access
College should be available and accessible to everyone who seeks a postsecondary degree. However, the unfortunate truth is that race, ethnicity, and family income factor into a college student’s ability to earn a college degree. Ed Trust seeks to level the playing field and pushes state and institutional leaders to keep education equity at the forefront by highlighting the continued underrepresentation of Black and Latino undergraduates at the nation’s most selective public colleges and universities to assessing all 50 states’ commitment to equitable opportunities and outcomes.
