The Education Trust Calls on the U.S. Senate to Swiftly Pass the Build Back Better Act

WASHINGTON – Today, Denise Forte, interim CEO at The Education Trust, issued the following statement on the U.S. House of Representatives passing the Build Back Better Act:
“We applaud the House for passing the Build Back Better Act. We are especially happy to see transformative investments that will positively impact millions of students and their families, including expanding access to early childhood education, making college more affordable with a larger Pell Grant, scaling up proven strategies to increase college completion, improving access to critical nutrition programs, and creating new pathways for growing and diversifying the educator workforce.
“We urge the U.S. Senate to swiftly pass this bill in its entirety.”
