Dailyn Fowler-Holmes
Associate Systems Administrator
Dailyn is responsible for handling the day-to-day tasks for the organization’s Information Technology (IT) department. This includes installing, maintaining, and monitoring all software and hardware systems. He is also responsible for aiding the Information Technology Manager in strategic planning.
Prior to The Education Trust, Dailyn worked at 3M as a junior system administrator. He has also worked at the University of Maryland as a desktop support technician. Dailyn began his career at NPower, a nonprofit IT Program geared toward helping underserved young adults in the Baltimore area gain experience working in IT. He studied Information Technology at Northeastern University.
Nickname
A few of my friends call me Day. But, my mom calls me Pooh Bear.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love all things cars. Whether it’s working on my car or going to the racetrack with friends and family, I love cars… fast cars that is.
Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?
I have had the opportunity to see firsthand the limitations that young people of color and low-income face while trying to receive a quality education to better themselves. I truly believe the work we do here at The Education Trust will allow disadvantaged young people a chance at a quality education that will offer them the best opportunity to thrive as adults.
