Growing up in an urban community, Joaquin always wondered why the schools in his community did not have the same type of resources as suburban or more affluent schools. Joaquin hopes to ask Dr. Cardona how he plans to support the transition to postsecondary education for high school students like him by investing resources in urban communities, such as mentorship programs.
