Karen Lomax

Karen is lead creative of the visual voice for The Education Trust. She develops and designs for all marketing mediums, including print collateral and online designs, and implements and maintains brand image and standards to build brand recognition for Ed Trust.
Previously, Karen worked with numerous nonprofits in Seattle, New York City, and Washington, D.C., where she advised clients on branding, design, and communications strategies. A native of Washington D.C., Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

What drew you to education?
I believe that education ensues confidence, and I want every kid to feel confident.
Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?
I grew up with advantages that too many students don’t have. I want every child to have the advantage of a good education.
