Troy Grant

Troy Grant serves as the Ayers Foundation’s Trust’s Chief Scholars Officer. In this capacity, Troy provides leadership to the Ayers Scholars Program, the Trust’s long-running and nationally recognized college access and success initiative. Prior to joining our team, Troy led the Tennessee Higher Education Commission’s Division of College Access and Success, which provides college access and success resources and services to over 75,000 Tennessee students annually. As a first-generation college student, Troy’s work is driven by a student-focused approach that stitches together policy and direct-service programming to provide opportunities for all students regardless of zip code, background, or socioeconomic status.

Troy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.
